During a tragic turn of events, a individuals killed at the Manchester synagogue assault is believed to have been shot dead by armed police officers.
Official Statement Reveals Firearm Injury
The chief constable from the local force stated that a forensic expert has initially concluded the man succumbed to a gunshot wound.
“We sought guidance overnight from forensic specialists before detailed autopsies scheduled for this afternoon. The expert has advised that preliminary findings show one of the deceased victims likely sustained a wound consistent with a firearm wound.”

The assailant, Jihad al-Shamie, did not have a gun, and the only shots fired came from authorized firearms personnel on site.
Authorities think the deceased was part of the group behind the synagogue door trying to stop the assailant from entering the building.

Names Released
The two victims killed in the attack during the synagogue incident located in Manchester on Thursday were identified as 53-year-old Adrian Daulby and 66-year-old Melvin Cravitz.
The men were killed when a vehicle was employed to ram into the grounds of the local Jewish place of worship, then stabbed worshippers in a brief violent spree that concluded after police with firearms fired upon him, ending his life at the door of the temple.
Additional Injuries
Three more people sustained major injuries in the violent act on Yom Kippur, the most sacred occasion in the Jewish calendar.
The chief constable added, “We have also been advised that one of the three victims now hospitalized sustained a firearm injury, which is fortunately non-fatal. Officials think both victims were near each other at the entrance, as worshippers acted bravely to prevent the attacker from gaining entry.”

Suspect Background
Authorities identified the attacker as the individual, 35, a UK national of Syrian descent.
Greater Manchester police reported that three other people – two men in their 30s and a woman in her 60s – had been arrested “for alleged commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism”.
